With a tight four piece lineup featuring guitar and vocals, sax, bass, and drums, the band delivers a danceable mix of vintage grooves, soulful classics, and select reworked favorites, along with original songs that fit seamlessly into the set.
Based in Chapel Hill, NC, The Velvet Beat plays clubs, festivals, and private events, bringing polish without pretense and creating music that connects, swings, and keeps people on the floor.
